Major Achievements:

  • Received the Burkina Faso Presidential Prize prize for the success of new rice varieties which are helping to increase the rice productivity and production in Burkina Faso
     
  • Received the Japan International Koshihikari Rice Prize prize for his significant contributions to rice production in sub-Saharan Africa through the development of the lowland NERICA varieties.
